We had geat fun touring north-west Kyoto on a beautiful day.
The guests were a family with a daughter and son, they are from Hong Kong.
They moved there from London last year and they were cheerful and did very well with walking in the tour.
We met at their guest house near Karasuma-Oike and took a bus to Kinkakuji- Temple.
It was early in the morning but there were many people at the temple and they enjoyed one of the best time in a year.
We had a bit of meditation at the mystery garden at Ryoanji-Temple after the golden pavilion. It is amazing that so many people visit Ryoanji-Temple to see the small garden. It is the wrold-famous garden.
We enjoyed our Okonomiyaki lunch and strolling around the Bamboo forest, Arashiyama area and the Monkey Park.
When we were walking aong the Katsura River, cherry trees were blown by the wind and petals of cherry blossoms fell and swirled around like snow!!
