A wonderful couple from Hawaii visited Kyoto.
It was the first time for them to come to Japan and they were looking forward to their trip to Kyoto.
I spent great two days with them.
On the day 1, we saw around places such as Fushimi Sake breweries, museum snd Fushimi Inari Shrine.
They were very excited that they found the Sake they wanted to buy.

We had more on the second day, we took a local train to Arashiyama and enjoyed ridng the train going through the town.
We visited Tenryu-ji Temple, Bamboo forest and rode a Arashiyama Romantic Train to Kameoka.
It was about 30 minute ride going through deep mountains and the scenery was amazingly beautiful. It was a little early for autumn leaves but still we enjoyed the fresh air from the outside of the city.

We planed to have Okonomiyaki for lunch but the restaurant we wanted to go was full so we went in a Udon noodle restaurant.

We left Arashiyama and headed to Kamishichiken where one of the Maiko&Geiko district.
We stroll around the area and enjoyed the atmosphere of historical place and we had a great tour at weaving studio of Tsuzure-ori weaving.
Artisans skills were amazing and their work were beautiful.
That was one of the highlights on the day.

After we walked around Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, we took a taxi to a Japanese restaurant for dinner.
It was great days out on beautiful sunny days!!
