We didn't expect that cherry trees started blooming this early this year.
A lot of tourists book their trips coming to Japan early April when cherry blossoms usually bloom
but it would be a little too late for this year.

They are just now blooming and they are almost in full bloom. We had a very lucky group of people from the United States. They had a business in Tokyo and visited Kyoto for a break.
It was a perfect day to walk arond and see cherry blossoms in the city. They enjoyed it very much and took a lot of photos!

We started at Kiyomizu-dera Temple. It will be rennovated until 2021
so there are many scaffolds around the temple buildings.
Before we had a tea ceremony we stopped at a small temple called Yasaka Koshin-do Temple.
This temple would look great on Instagram!!

Tea ceremony was one of the highlights in our tour and we lerant about history of tea and
how it affects in our life and we of course made and had the tea!

It was a little difficult to find a restaurant for lunch
becasue Maruyama Park and the area was packed with people enjoying viewing full-bloomed cherry trees.
We managed to find the place for lunch and we talk about thier work and stay in Kyoto.

After lunch we enjoyed viewing beautiful cherry trees in the Shirakawa area which is one of the best place to see the cherry blossoms.
We took a taxi heading to Kinkaku-ji Temple and the guests

The last stop in our tour was the Arashiyama area. We stroll around the area and enjoyed walking along Katsura River. It was a beautiful sunny day and the best day for viewing cherry flowers.
