The museum introduces the fascinating history of traditional sake brewing with valuable collection of traditional brewing tools and other interesting exhibits.
Also you can see brewing process of sake with English explanations.
Sake tasting is included in the tour. You enjoy 3 different kinds of sake and get some sake gift at the museum.
The area surrounded by Horikawa, the outer moat of Fushimi-jo Castle ruins is designated as an aesthetic landscape and you enjoy walking the area with traditional Japanese Machiya buildings and paths.
Near the museum, Teradaya site, a Japanese Inn which Ryoma Sakamoto stayed and Gokonomiya Shrine close to the museum are the places you can visit and enjoy the history of Edo period.
